Winter Weather Cancellation Codes

With the New Year, please remember our winter weather cancellation codes:

  Code Red:  Meal delivery cancelled; all offices closed.
Code Yellow:  Meal delivery cancelled; offices open 2 hours late.
Code Green:  Offices open on time; meal delivery proceeds as normal.

Codes will be posted on our website homepage and our Facebook page by 6am.

In our first blog of 2015, we would like to introduce an individual and non-profit who has partnered with us to create our newest program: Healing Meals, Helping Hands. 

Strength in Numbers - Non-Profits Joining Hands

I'd like to start off by saying how important an “attitude of gratitude” is in life. Words can't express how grateful I am every day for being blessed with a healthy body and a healthy appreciation for this amazing journey through life.

Having survived stage 3 metastatic melanoma, my life had surely not gone as planned. I can say today, with 100% confidence and enthusiasm, that I am most certainly right where I am supposed to be. I have never been prouder than I am today. My personal victory against the melanoma “beast” inspired me to start my own non-profit foundation, Kelly’s Dream, in 2009. Our original mission was to help fund melanoma research, but, over the years, the Foundation has evolved into so much more.
